What Is An Update?

An update is the addition of an article or news item on your site. The length of a single update is 500 words or less. If you have a single page that is longer than 500 words, it will be counted as more than a single update.

In addition to a new article or news item - an update can be the addition of 2 polls as a single update. Each poll can have up to 5 possible options. Longer polls will be counted as more than 1 update.

What If I Have A Bunch Of Little Changes?

So - the site is up and you want to make a bunch of little changes throughout the site, right? So - how does that work with your monthly updates? Unfortunately - we are not able to split out the 500 word article updates across multiple articles. If we are updating a page for the site - it is part of your update count for the month. The best way to avoid this is to double-check anything you are sending us. Of course - if we made a mistake in getting the information online - that will be our responsibility to fix.

What Is NOT An Update?

This could be a really long list - as we have all sorts of services that fall outside of the update program. The easiest way to think about it is this - if you are adding a new feature to your site - it is not an update. If you want additional functionality, new sections of your site, etc. - that is outside of the update/maintenance plan.

How Do I Get Things Outside Of My Updates?

Our normal turn around time is 2 to 3 business days, but there are times that it can take up to a week for your updates to go live. If there is any need for clarification on the update, the updates may take longer.
